This Privacy Policy describes how JEB Studios (“we”, “us”) handles
information in the mobile app
GridOut (also titled GridOut: Parking Puzzle; the “App”),
a parking puzzle game where you slide vehicles to free the target car, available on Google
Play under the package name
com.jebstudios.gridout.
Summary
GridOut is a fully offline game. We do not require an account, we do not display advertisements, we do not use analytics or crash-reporting services, and we do not operate servers to collect your data. All gameplay runs on your device.
Information we store on your device
The App saves a small amount of data locally using Android SharedPreferences. This includes:
- Completed levels — IDs of levels you have finished, used to unlock sequential progress
The light/dark theme preference is kept only in memory for the current session and is not written to storage. Local progress data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. Uninstalling the App removes this data from your device.
Network use
GridOut does not make network requests during normal use. The App works entirely offline. Assets are bundled with the App and are not fetched from external servers at runtime.
Device permissions (Android)
The release version of the App does not request sensitive permissions such as Internet access, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage. The App uses standard Android haptic feedback for gameplay interactions; no additional vibration permission is required on modern Android versions.
Third-party libraries
The App uses open-source libraries for UI state and local storage. These libraries process data only on your device and do not send information to external services:

Distribution through Google Play is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy (for example installation, updates, and optional device diagnostics managed by Google — not by JEB Studios).
Backups and data security
Android backup and cloud/device data transfer for the App are disabled or exclude app preferences. Your level progress is therefore not included in Google or manufacturer backups of the App. We do not have access to data stored on your device.
Children’s privacy
GridOut is a logic puzzle suitable for a general audience and is not directed at collecting personal information from anyone, including children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add online features, advertisements, or analytics in a future version. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
