This Privacy Policy describes how JEB Studios (“we”, “us”) handles information in the mobile and web app Konti (the “App”), a business management tool for micro-entrepreneurs in Latin America, available on Google Play and other platforms.
Summary
Konti requires an account and an internet connection to work. Your business data — including cash flow, inventory, debts, and team information — is stored on secure cloud servers operated by Supabase. We do not display advertisements, and we do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. You control the business and financial information you enter into the App.
Account information
When you create an account, we collect and store through our authentication provider:
- Email address — used to sign in and identify your account
- Display name — shown in your profile and team memberships
- Password — handled securely by Supabase Auth; we do not store passwords in the App code
- Account creation date — stored as profile metadata
- Plan tier — free, pro, or business, used to enforce usage limits
Your sign-in session is stored on your device so you remain logged in between visits. Email confirmation may be required when you register, depending on our server settings.
Business data you provide
The App lets you create and manage one or more businesses. Data you enter is stored in our cloud database and may include:
- Business profile — name, type, currency, country, and phone number
- Cash flow transactions — income and expenses with amounts, dates, categories, payment methods, descriptions, and linked products
- Inventory — product names, prices, costs, stock levels, and low-stock alerts
- Debts — client or supplier names, phone numbers, amounts, due dates, status, and notes
- Team members — employee display names and email addresses for businesses you own or join
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, including any personal data about your customers or suppliers that you store in debt records.
Team collaboration and data sharing
If you invite employees to a business, they can view and manage that business’s products, transactions, and debts. To enable invitations, authenticated users may look up whether an email address is already registered in Konti. Business data is shared only among members of the same business, enforced by database access rules.
Product photos
You may attach photos to inventory products by selecting images from your device’s photo library. Images are resized on your device and uploaded to our cloud storage. Product images are stored in a publicly readable bucket, meaning anyone who has the image URL can view the photo. Do not upload images containing sensitive personal information you do not want publicly accessible.
Data export
You can export monthly cash-flow reports as CSV files. Export uses your device’s share sheet, so you choose where the file is sent (email, messaging apps, cloud storage, etc.). Once shared, that data is handled by the service you select, not by us.
Information stored on your device
In addition to your sign-in session, the App may temporarily store:
- CSV export files — created in a temporary folder while you share a report
- Image data — briefly held in memory while a product photo is processed and uploaded
Temporary files are not retained after the export or upload completes. Uninstalling the App removes the local session; your cloud data remains until you request deletion.
Network use
Konti requires an internet connection for core features. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) to our Supabase backend for authentication, database storage, file uploads, and real-time synchronization across your devices.
Device permissions
Depending on your platform, the App may request or use:
- Internet — required to sync your account and business data
- Photos / media library — to select product images from your gallery (Android: READ_MEDIA_IMAGES; legacy READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android versions)
- Photo library (iOS) — to select product images
The App does not access your contacts, microphone, precise location, or call logs. Camera access is not used in the current version of the App.

When you share a CSV export, the destination app or service you choose (email, WhatsApp, Google Drive, etc.) applies its own privacy practices.
What we do not collect
We do not use advertising networks, third-party analytics, crash reporting services, or social login providers. We do not collect payment card or billing information — plan tiers are managed in our database and in-app purchases are not yet available.
Data retention and deletion
Your account and business data are retained while your account is active. If you want to delete your account and associated data, contact us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable time. Deleting your account removes your profile and, where applicable, businesses you solely own, subject to our backend data policies.
Data security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections, secure authentication (PKCE flow), and database access rules that limit each user to their own account and shared business data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and keep your device secure.
International data transfers
Your data is processed on servers operated by Supabase. Depending on your location and our server configuration, your information may be stored or processed outside your country. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
Children’s privacy
Konti is a business management tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
